Our Team
Dorinda Nartey
Director
A scientist by training, Dorinda has spent over two decades working in clinical research, collaborating with leaders and teams in high-pressure environments. She’s witnessed the challenges of underrepresentation in leadership, the relentless focus on KPIs, and the disengagement that comes when results are demanded “yesterday”, with little space for growth or reflection.
Following her long standing interest in developing training programmes, and armed with accredited training in psychological theories, coaching and leadership development; Dorinda began designing and delivering coaching and leadership programmes across organisations. Her sessions quickly gained popularity, leading her to create flagship programmes for both public and private sector clients, consistently receiving outstanding feedback for their practical impact and relevance.
Driven by a passion to reshape the narrative of success for underrepresented professionals and leaders of diverse teams, she founded Mastering Awareness. She now partners with organisations committed to fostering talent, creating equitable pathways and building inclusive, high-performing teams, personally curating and delivering the majority of the company’s programmes.
Known for her dynamic and vibrant energy, Dorinda brings more than professional credentials to her work. Enthusiastic, cheerful, and deeply curious about human psychology, she is dedicated to empowering others to find purpose, resilience, and drive while navigating change in complex environments. Employing a holistic perspective, she brings a refreshing approach to both personal and professional growth.
She is an accredited Senior Practitioner Coach and Mentor with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and completed a programme on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: DEI Strategies for Business Impact at Cambridge Judge Business School.
