Mastering Awareness was founded in 2020 and registered in 2021 with one simple belief at its core:
When people truly understand themselves, they lead with clarity, courage, and meaningful impact.
But the journey here wasn’t straightforward.
2020: A founder’s moment of realisation
For more than two decades, I worked within highly technical, high-pressure environments, from FMCG and scientific research to quality assurance and consulting. These worlds demand precision and performance, yet I noticed something deeper.
Years of self-investment in leadership development, behaviour, psychotherapy and coaching taught me lessons I hadn’t, and couldn’t, learn in any laboratory or boardroom:
- That knowing where you start and where others stop protects energy, boundaries and wellbeing.
- That owning my thoughts, feelings and choices is an act of leadership.
- That judgement is just a moment, not a definition.
- That constructive challenge, when embraced, becomes fuel for growth.
- And that harsh, unthoughtful criticism destroys souls, even when unintended.
Though not all alien, these discoveries shifted my perspective enough to create spaces where others could experience this sense of clarity and strength.
2021: The Leap in registering the business.
Still, founding Mastering Awareness felt scary and risky.
I was a trained scientist.
A consultant.
Someone working in industries where “soft skills” were often misunderstood or undervalued.
I wrestled with whether people would take this vision seriously, especially those who had only known me through rigorous, technical work.
But the desire to build something transformative grew stronger than the fear.
2022–2024: Partnerships, first programmes, early transformation stories
Now, as a small team, we support leaders and professionals across private, public and scientific, sectors to understand themselves, lead consciously and thrive together.
