Thriving in Leadership
This is cross-organisational programme for Women of Colour in leadership
It is designed to support organisations seeking to retain diverse talent, close representation gaps and advance Women of Colour in leadership roles.
Client Feedback – “I went into the workshop with a few reservations, but Dorinda completely exceeded my expectations.”
Organisations that sponsor Women of Colour on this programme report stronger progression outcomes, alongside greater focus and fulfilment among participants.
About The Programme
Leadership today is shaped by complexity across organisational, societal, and global contexts.
For Women of Colour, this complexity often plays out more visibly, more publicly, and with greater consequences. Not because of a lack of capability, but because leadership systems remain uneven.
This 6-weeks programme recognises that reality without positioning Women of Colour as the problem to be solved.
Most delegates are already leading significant projects, teams, influencing key organisational decisions or key shaping outcomes. The programme supports them to do this with greater clarity, presence, and organisational impact.
Key outcomes for the course
We create a psychologically safe and rigorous space to:
- Strengthen leadership presence, influence, and advocacy.
- Sharpen decision making and leadership voice in high visibility contexts, where a balance of challenge and empathy is critical to success.
- Navigate complexity and stakeholder relationships, with shared responsibility and trusted support.
- Progress influence and leadership impact, reducing the need to micromanage self, and lean expertise towards sustainable organisational performance.
- Develop self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and practical tools to build trust, lead effectively across differences, and navigate the realities of senior leadership with clarity and purpose.
Participants, including senior leaders, describe the programme as a pivotal point in how they lead, position themselves, and use their influence.
For organisations and sponsors, this is not a deficit diversity initiative. It is a strategic investment in leadership effectiveness, healthier, collaborative work cultures, retention, and long-term stewardship of talent in environments where who leads, and how, matters.
If you are a Woman of Colour committed to leading with clarity, influence, and purpose, and to shaping leadership beyond yourself, this programme is designed to meet you where you are.
